This is a challenging walk event taking you around the entire Lake District National Park. The six day walk follows the route of Alfred Wainwright’s Whitsunday walk, from which (weather permitting) you will get to see every peak, lake and valley in the Lake District! Starting in Windermere this route will take you over some classic mountain terrain, climbing the formidable Helvelyn and Striding Edge, the stunning peak of Blencathra, over Buttermere and Wasdale to England’s highest mountain, Scafel Pike and the Langdale Pikes before finishing in Ambleside for a well earned celebratory meal!
