Climb all 15 of the Welsh 3000′ mountains, all within 24 hours! This challenge will see you traverse three mountain areas in the Snowdonia National Park covering a distance of a marathon.

This is a classic mountain challenge event, covering the distance of a marathon in 24 hours. Sounds easy? In your path are the 15 highest peaks in Wales! With a little training and a bit of effort from you it is a challenge you can complete.

Starting out on the summit of Snowdon you will tackle some classic mountain walks, from the classic Crib Goch to the stunning Glyders and the imposing Carneddau. Your Welsh 3000s challenge will finish on the summit of Foel-Fras, the last summit of the route. From here you will need to walk down to Abergwyngregyn where the support crew will be waiting. You will be taken from here to Bangor, where you will have the chance for a celebratory drink before the journey home.

  1. Day1 Welsh 3000's

    You will meet your team at Pen-Y-Pass car parkĀ  at 08.00 ready to start out for the summit of Snowdon. From the summit you will tackle some classic mountain walks, from the classic Crib Goch to the stunning Glyders and the imposing Carneddau. You will pass through Ogwyn cottage between the Glyders and the Carneddau where there will be the chance for a toilet and refreshment break. Our support vehicle will be on hand to allow a quick equipment change if you need. From here it is up into the Carneddau for the last leg of your challenge. The actually finish of the event is on the summit of Foel-Fras, the last of the route. From here you and your team will walk down to Abergwyngregyn where the support crew and onward travel will be waiting. You will be taken from here to Bangor, where you will have the chance for a celebratory drink and (optional meal) before the journey home.
