This is a classic mountain challenge event, covering the distance of a marathon in 24 hours. Sounds easy? In your path are the 15 highest peaks in Wales! With a little training and a bit of effort from you it is a challenge you can complete.
Starting out on the summit of Snowdon you will tackle some classic mountain walks, from the classic Crib Goch to the stunning Glyders and the imposing Carneddau. Your Welsh 3000s challenge will finish on the summit of Foel-Fras, the last summit of the route. From here you will need to walk down to Abergwyngregyn where the support crew will be waiting. You will be taken from here to Bangor, where you will have the chance for a celebratory drink before the journey home.
